holy wow, i can't believe this account's still active. i couldn't sleep tonight, so i spent my time seeing who all i could track down on the internet that i haven't seen or heard from in forever. i basically ended up finding a bunch of gothyish maple ridge kids, andi, and amanda. and a bunch of new(ish) writing by graham. it's been a weird night.

i guess for anyone who sees this and is curious at all, i'm in halifax right now, but heading to montreal tomorrow for a bit, then back here, probably. i don't know. just email me, i probably won't be on here for another two years, at least.

today, i watched jake's kids with corey again while him and jake nailed down the new carpet. i also ran into this kid, brandon, that i hadn't seen in about three or four years in the parking lot of the complex.

then, i went and got my chest and sinus x-rays done. they had to get my requisition papers faxed in from the doctor who gave me them because i forgot my copy at home. the receptionist said it was illegal to do the x-rays without them.

hospitals are dumb.

the show last night was awesome. devon (from the jolts) gave me a discount on a bad-amps back patch and a free compilation cd, and i ran into the rejects there, and d.o.a. kicked motherfucking ass.

today, i went to jay's and waxed political with his grandma.

after, cam, and two other guys (tony, from in harm's way, and his friend rob) came by and saw us practice.

last night, i saw the jolts play at pub 340 and got completely totalled with chris lock. i also got to see steph (she was handing out flyers for the jaded jinas' tour kick-off show, which is tonight at the marine club) and sean for the first time in quite a while.

i was super hung over when i woke up at chris' place this morning. as i was making my way home from new westminster, i ran into andi. i haven't seen her in so long. we gave each other hugs.

tonight, me and burger are going to see d.o.a., hong kong blonde, r.o.s., and the bad-amps.

today, my social worker called. i told her about moving in with jake and derek, and she said it sounded fine. i need to go in and pick up an intent-to-rent form.

then, i talked to my foster-dad about the shit the foster-kids stole. he said he would reimburse me.

i also made some calls to places looking to hire.

today, i woke up super early and went to the hospital for some throat test thingy. it only took ten minutes and the results were inconclusive. if it's that short of a test, how about letting me take it in the afternoon, you stupid hospital?

after that, i went to jaimen's place and updated the OD website. the second issue is now up and viewable.

and i watched "best in show" during class today. i thought it was pretty funny. then again, i was pretty stoned.

today, i had a meeting with my social worker. we filled out more paperwork in preparation for me getting on independent living.

later on, i ran into derek and toothless jake. i helped them do some work on their new place (jake's left delta now) and talked to them about moving in with them next month. they said fuckin-a.

then, i went to jay's house and had some beers with burger and him. me and jay drove to cliff park and smoked joints to cap it all off.

looks like skiff won't be able to move out with me in july. we were talking about it yesterday and he just won't have enough money by then.

today, i finally got the confirmation on the short url for the OD magazine website. all that's left to do now is confirm everyone's email addresses and put up some links, but you can see it anyway.

and i'm supposed to hang out with bridgette tonight, but i'm kind of doubting it'll actually happen at this point.

one of the foster-kids stole my gamecube (it had two memory cards, a controller, and a game in it, too), two of my dvds (full metal jacket and one flew over the cuckoo's nest), and kenny's copy of metroid prime 2: echoes that he lent me.

my foster-parents won't do a damn thing about it, either.

i'm so fucking sick of foster care and all its bullshit.

today, i went to the marijuana march downtown and handed out copies of OD's second issue with jaimen, ontario jon, adrian, and liz.

i was really, really stoned even before i got to vancouver, then at the end of the march i bought a really good pot cookie.

on the bus home, me and caitlin saw a woman who eerily resembled a hamster.

i brought my stereo down and danced to operation ivy.

later, i've got band practice. caitlin, beth, liz, and scotty toss are all coming to see us play, and burger is going to play bass. it's going to be really crowded.

today was really goddamn busy. i had a meeting with my new social worker at 10:30, a zine meeting at 12:00, an appointment with a throat specialist at 1:30, and class at 4:30.

when the throat doctor did the allergy test on my arms, i thought it looked really cool, so i got him to take a picture of it with caitlin's camera.

he probably thought i was a weirdo.
